Reviewed by Tim from IN: Me and my friend built a custom woofer box that would fit snuggly into the trunk of my 2000 Ford Focus SE. We build two separate compartments, one for the amp and one for the subwoofer. We sealed each compartment for sound vibration and sound proof purposes and then worked on the outside of the box. To finish the look of the box, we cut out an oval cover panel and stuck blue LED lights on the back of the panel. We then placed the panel on top of the box. The purpose of the lights was to light up the subwoofer system at night. We also sprayed a sort of spackling paint on the outside of the box to create a finished look. I then bought a 500K capacitor and stuck it on the side of the box. We wired it up and cranked out the tunes. I listen mostly to hard and soft core rap, so the subwoofer really brings out the dynamic bass that exist in most rap music.
